On Genotyping Bacterial Strains of the Genera Pectobacterium and Pseudomonas: Pathogens of Bacterioses in Potatoes

Cytology and Genetics, 2019
Molecular-genetic research methods make it possible to identify phytopathogens with comprehensive characteristics of their hereditary material. We suggest a genotyping method based on the use of two restriction endonucleases for the cleavage of bacteria’s genomic DNA.

Potato Bacterioses, Monitored on Plantings During Vegetative Growth Period: Tuber Rots Caused by Fungal and Bacterial Pathogens

2021
Consideration was given to potato bacterioses, monitored on plantings during vegetative growth period: black stem and ring rot. Tuber rots were found that are caused by fungal and bacterial pathogens. A description is given of dry tuber rots caused by fungal phytopathogens: Fusarium blight, Phoma rot, Alternaria blight.

The cytologist and bacterioses of the vaginal-ectocervical area. Clues, commas and confusion.

Acta cytologica, 1989
To evaluate the role of the cytologist in the diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis, the predominant bacterial patterns seen in 157 Papanicolaou-stained cervical smears were assessed and classified as large bacillus, anaerobic or scanty. A large bacillus pattern was found in 73 smears (46%), an anaerobic pattern in 77 (49%) and scanty bacteria in 7 (5 ...
