On the Classification of Splitting (v, u×c, λ) BIBDs
The (v, u×c, λ)-splitting balanced incomplete block designs correspond to c-splitting authentication codes. We classify splitting balanced incomplete block designs with definite parameters.

Circular designs balanced for neighbours at distances one and two
Date of Acceptance: 23/05/2014We define three types of neighbour-balanced designs for experiments where the units are arranged in a circle or single line in space or time.

EXPLORATION OF FINITE GROUP APPROACH IN BALANCED INCOMPLETE BLOCK DESIGN
The development of block designs continues to be an unresolved challenge in combinatorial design, with several forms, the most notable being the balanced incomplete block designs (BIBDs).

Regular A-optimal Spring Balance Weighing Designs
The problem of indicating an A-optimal spring balance weighing design providing that the measurement errors have different variances and are uncorrelated is considered.

Almost designs and their links with balanced incomplete block designs [PDF]
Almost designs ($t$-adesigns) were proposed and discussed by Ding as a certain generalization of combinatorial designs related to almost difference sets. Unlike $t$-designs, it is not clear whether $t$-adesigns need also be $(t-1)$-designs or $(t-1)$-adesigns.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Highly D‑efficient Weighing Design and Its Construction
In this paper, some aspects of design optimality on the basis of spring balance weighing designs are considered. The properties of D‑optimal and D‑efficiency designs are studied.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Construction of balanced incomplete block designs
Given a symmetric balanced incomplete block design or a finite plane, we recursively construct balanced incomplete block designs by taking unions of certain blocks and points of the original design to be the blocks of the new ...

A Variabilitymethod for Obtaining Subjective Information
One efficient data collection methodology for obtaining subjective information has received little attention. It is balanced incomplete block (BIB) designs. The authors demonstrate how to develop and apply a BIB design.
