摘要 蛇菰屬(Balanophora)隸屬於蛇菰科(Balanophoraceae),為高度特化的根部寄生植物。在台灣有一屬四種,其中粗穗蛇菰(B. fungosa)僅分佈恆春半島及蘭嶼,而海桐生蛇菰(B. wrightii)目前記錄侷限在花蓮太魯閣之文山至綠水一帶,其餘兩種蛇菰廣泛分佈於台灣中低海拔闊葉林下。植物體不具典型根、莖、葉構造,由塊莖及花序組成,僅見於開花期。本研究主要以掃描式電子顯微鏡、石蠟及塑膠切片來觀察分析蛇菰屬植物種間花序發生及花部發育的差異。
