This review examines passive, active, and hybrid liquid manipulation strategies, highlighting hybrid approaches as an emerging route to reconcile energy efficiency with adaptive control. By actively reconstructing passive surfaces to store programmable interfacial energy, hybrid systems enable flexible yet low‐power liquid transport, with perspectives ...

Flexoelectricity in Photoconversion: Fundamentals, Materials, and Outlooks
Mechanical bending of a flexible cantilever induces a strain gradient in the photoactive material. The resulting flexoelectric field couples with photovoltaic and photoconductive effects, modulating charge generation, separation, and collection. A comparative analysis of oxide perovskites, halide perovskites, and two‐dimensional materials is presented,

ABSTRACT To confront extreme space environments, a combination of inorganic and organic coatings can provide a pathway for offering highly durable radiation resistance and anti‐friction simultaneously. Herein, a strong interfacial 3D hydrogen‐bonding network is designed to create robust hexagonal boron nitride (h‐BN) based polymer coatings with ...

Simplified simulation of impact bullet - stratified pack for restraining ballistic tests [PDF]
This paper presents a macro FEM isothermal model for simulating the impact of a 9 mm FMJ bullet on a stratified packs in order to restrain the preliminary tests for actual stratified packs made of layers of Twaron LFT SB1plus (Teijin), taking into account the friction between layers and between bullet and layers, in order to obtain the number of layers
