A Concept of Live Fire Testing to Identify the Aerodynamic Coefficients of a 35 mm Anti-Aircraft Projectile [PDF]
This paper presents a generic algorithm designed to identify aerodynamic coefficients among the data specified in firing tables and projectile flight parameter data recorded during live fire tests. The algorithm and the concept of live fire testing shown

The Numerical Simulation in Ballistics
In this paper we examine the movement of the solid body thrown with some angle to the horizon (for example the shot mine). Such movement is described by non-linear system of equations. This system is being approximated by linear system, in segments.

Nondestructive Testing of Welded Composite Metal Foams
X‐ray computed tomography (CT) is used to evaluate welded steel–steel composite metal foam (CMF) joints of two density classes. It reports variation in postweld spatial void distribution and correlates it to weld‐induced changes, mechanical performance, and failure within welded CMF panels.

Chiral Phase Change Nanomaterials
This work demonstrates reversible, non‐volatile phase transitions in chiral Ge2${\rm Ge}_2$Sb2${\rm Sb}_2$Te5${\rm Te}_5$ (GST) nanohelices for high‐speed optical modulation of chirality and dynamic control of the state of polarization (SOP). The chiral nanostructures are fabricated using a highly directional, wafer‐scale physical vapor deposition ...
