Water Prehydrolysis of Moso Bamboo Dissolving Pulp
Advanced Materials Research, 2013The chemical comcomposition and water prehydrolysis of moso bamboo were studied to prepare high grade dissolving pulp. The results indicated that the moso bamboo was an appropriate none-wood material for great dissolving pulp goten as its high cellulose content.

Fiber Structure and Basic Properties of Bamboo Pulp
Advanced Materials Research, 2011Bamboo fiber, including natural bamboo fiber and recycled bamboo fiber, is a novel textile material of great economic value. The bamboo pulp fiber has been well received, whereas the development of the natural bamboo fiber is limited. The morphological structures of longitudinal and transverse sections were observed.

Advanced Materials Research, 2012Bamboo, as a kind of non-wood raw material, has a long, thin fiber with wide distribution and rich abundance in China. It was studied that cooking reagents on bamboo pulping. AQ ramification and infiltration reagents were used to improve the cooking schedule.

Air-cured bamboo pulp reinforced cement

Autoclaved bamboo pulp fibre reinforced cement
Cement and Concrete Composites, 1995Abstract This paper reports the use of bamboo fibre as a potential reinforcement for autoclaved cement building materials. At a fibre loading of 14% by mass, the autoclaved bamboo fibre reinforced cement composites have a flexural strength greater than 18 MPa and a density of about 1.3 g cm−3.
