ROOT ANATOMY OF THE BAMBUSOIDEAE (POACEAE)
American Journal of Botany, 1990Root anatomy was examined for 15 species, in 6 of the 11 tribes of the Bambusoideae. Wide ranges of anatomical variation were found in epidermis, exodermis, cortex, endodermis, pericycle, phloem, xylem, and pith. A New Combination in Bambusa (Gramineae-Bambusoideae)
Kew Bulletin, 1997A new combination, Bambusa membranacea (Munro) Stapleton & N. H. Xia, is made for a widespread and economically important bamboo from Burma, Indo-China, and Yunnan Province of China.
