1990Although the utilisation of bamboos has been well established in the Malesian region, intensive taxonomic studies are still urgently needed because the available treatises are inadequate to clear up the generic and specific delimitation in the light of newly accumulated evidence.

A Revision of Myriocladus (Poaceae: Bambusoideae: Bambuseae)
Brittonia, 1998Myriocladus is a woody bamboo genus of 13 species endemic to the summits and slopes of tepuis in southern Venezuela and adjacent Brazil and Guyana. This revision presents a key to the species, taxonomy (nine species are newly placed in synonymy), descriptions, and distribution maps for all species.
