Edge‐Length Preserving Embeddings of Graphs Between Normed Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, Volume 112, Issue 4, Page 491-506, August 2026.
ABSTRACT The concept of graph embeddability, initially formalized by Belk and Connelly and later expanded by Sitharam and Willoughby, extends the question of embedding finite metric spaces into a given normed space. A finite simple graph G = ( V , E ) is said to be ( X , Y )‐embeddable if any set of induced edge lengths from an embedding of G into a ...

Convergence of Fibonacci–Ishikawa iteration procedure for monotone asymptotically nonexpansive mappings

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
In uniformly convex Banach spaces, we study within this research Fibonacci–Ishikawa iteration for monotone asymptotically nonexpansive mappings. In addition to demonstrating strong convergence, we establish weak convergence result of the Fibonacci ...

Approximating Common Fixed Points of Bregman Weakly Relatively Nonexpansive Mappings in Banach Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2014
Using Bregman functions, we introduce a new hybrid iterative scheme for finding common fixed points of an infinite family of Bregman weakly relatively nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. We prove a strong convergence theorem for the sequence produced

Small operator ideals formed by s numbers on generalized Cesáro and Orlicz sequence spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
In this article, we establish sufficient conditions on the generalized Cesáro and Orlicz sequence spaces E $\mathbb{E}$ such that the class SE $S_{\mathbb{E}}$ of all bounded linear operators between arbitrary Banach spaces with its sequence of s-numbers

Existence of Solution for Two Classes of Quasilinear Systems Defined on a Nonreflexive Orlicz–Sobolev Spaces

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 12, Page 13324-13360, August 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper proves the existence of nontrivial solution for two classes of quasilinear systems of the type −ΔΦ1u=Fu(x,u,v)+λRu(x,u,v)inΩ−ΔΦ2v=−Fv(x,u,v)−λRv(x,u,v)inΩu=v=0on∂Ω$$ \left\{\begin{array}{l}\hfill -{\Delta}_{\Phi_1}u={F}_u\left(x,u,v\right)+\lambda {R}_u\left(x,u,v\right)\kern0.1832424242424242em \mathrm{in}\kern0.3em \Omega ...

Banach spaces of $\mathcal I$-convergent sequences

open access: yes, 2023
We study the space $c_{0,\mathcal{I}}$ of all bounded sequences $(x_n)$ that $\mathcal{I}$-converge to $0$, endowed with the sup norm, where $\mathcal{I}$ is an ideal of subsets of $\mathbb{N}$. We show that two such spaces, $c_{0,\mathcal{I}}$ and $c_{0,\mathcal{J}}$, are isometric exactly when the ideals $\mathcal{I}$ and $\mathcal{J}$ are isomorphic.

Shape Derivatives of the Eigenvalues of the de Rham Complex for Lipschitz Deformations and Variable Coefficients: Part II

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 12, Page 14244-14265, August 2026.
ABSTRACT In this second part of our series of papers, we develop an abstract framework suitable for de Rham complexes that depend on a parameter belonging to an arbitrary Banach space. Our primary focus is on spectral perturbation problems and the differentiability of eigenvalues with respect to perturbations of the involved parameters. As a byproduct,

Existence of solutions for infinite systems of differential equations in spaces of tempered sequences

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
The aim of this article is to study the existence of solutions for infinite systems of differential equations. We look for solutions in Banach tempered sequence spaces, using techniques associated with measures of noncompactness, and results from ...

Linear Toroidal‐Inertial Waves on A Differentially Rotating Sphere with Application to Helioseismology: Modeling, Forward and Inverse Problems

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 12, Page 14122-14148, August 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper develops a mathematical framework for interpreting observations of solar inertial waves in an idealized setting. Under the assumption of purely toroidal linear waves on the sphere, the stream function of the flow satisfies a fourth‐order scalar equation.

Fixed Points of Kannan Maps in the Variable Exponent Sequence Spaces p(·)

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
Kannan maps have inspired a branch of metric fixed point theory devoted to the extension of the classical Banach contraction principle. The study of these maps in modular vector spaces was attempted timidly and was not successful.
