Exact Design of Band-Stop Microwave Filters
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1964An exact method for the design of band-stop filters which adapts synthesis techniques due to Ozaki and Ishii is discussed. This method places no theoretical limit on the width of the stop-band, although, for practical reasons, different (but equivalent) circuit configurations are used for stop-bands of different widths. These configurations include a ...

A Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Band Stop Filter
2006 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2006A transmission mode band reject filter using TEXY/ mode of a rectangular dielectric resonator (DR) is discussed. The band reject filter characteristics of the DR operating in the TEXY/ mode, coupled to a microstrip line enclosed within a cylindrical cavity is studied.

Optically controlled frequency switching band stop filter
2012 IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Antennas and Propagation, 2012A novel optically controlled frequency switching band stop filter (BSF) is presented in this paper. The filter consists of a shorted stub connected to a microstrip line. Photoconductive silicon switches are placed along the length of the stub. By optically illuminating the silicon switches the effective length of the stub and hence its resonant ...

Band Stop Filter Using LPE-YIG Films
MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2005Current injection into flat ribbon strips adjacent to YIG films provides rapid linear tuning and low insertion loss band-stop filters on a planar structure. Results show promise for high frequency hopping devices over a fairly wide bandwidth.

Switchable Band-Stop Filter for M.I.C.
14th European Microwave Conference, 1984, 1984A switchable filter structure using transmission lines switched by means of PIN diodes permits to obtain according to the bias diode state either a transfer function band-stop or a transfer function pseudo all pass. This switchable filter consists of : quarter-wave open-circuited lines separated by quarter-wave series lines, beam lead PIN diodes and ...

The investigation results of K/sub L/ stop-band filter based on wave-slot line are represented. The principle characters of such structures are the high attenuation level in stopband (around 30-40 dB), relatively low attenuation level in a pass-band (it is within 2 dB) and ability for manufacture.

Novel electronically tunable DR band-stop filter
Proceedings of 1995 SBMO/IEEE MTT-S International Microwave and Optoelectronics Conference, 2002This paper describes the fundamental characteristics and experimental results of a newly developed electronically tunable dielectric resonator (DR) band-stop filter. The tuning configuration employed consists of a microstrip line ring loaded with GaAs varactor diodes.
