Microstrip dual-bandpass filter design

open access: yes2017 25th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2017
Dual-bandpass microstrip filter design is suggested for small-scale device. Design of dual-bandpass microstrip filter has been created with concentric square structure by using microstrip resonator. Both of resonators have been used to get dual-bandpass frequencies and fed with only one source.

Inhibitory Decay and Supercritical Brain Dynamics During Sleep Deprivation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sleep deprivation progressively shifts human brain dynamics from near‐critical toward supercritical states, as revealed by neuronal avalanche analysis of resting‐state fMRI. These changes track subjective sleep pressure rather than vigilance lapses and show marked network heterogeneity. A circuit model suggests that reduced inhibitory efficacy provides

Multiple mechanisms shape FM sweep rate selectivity: complementary or redundant?

open access: yesFrontiers in Neural Circuits, 2012
Auditory neurons in the inferior colliculus (IC) of the pallid bat have strong rate selective responses to downward frequency modulated (FM) sweeps attributable to the spectrotemporal pattern of their echolocation call (a brief FM pulse).

Compact Tabletop Magnetic Resonance Elastography for Mapping Soft Tissue Viscoelasticity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces a compact, low‐cost tabletop magnetic resonance elastography platform for high‐resolution viscoelastic mapping in soft‐tissue specimens. Using this method in human colorectal liver metastases, we demonstrate fully automated biomechanical profiling of treatment response and show that heterogeneity‐based metrics outperform ...

Miniaturized dual-mode microstrip bandpass filters with a reconfigurable notched band for UWB applications

open access: yes, 2013
A novel, compact, and highly selective dual-mode microstrip bandpass filter with a switchable notched band is presented. A notched band is developed by employing an open-circuited stub which can be switched by a pin diode to avoid WLAN interferences (5.8

TRIM: Simultaneous Thermometry, Ranging, and Imaging via a Monolithic Metalens

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT While metasurfaces offer a pathway beyond the discrete architectures of conventional LWIR systems, physically fusing high‐precision thermometry and passive ranging onto a single metalens remains a formidable challenge. Here, we demonstrate a monolithic, dual‐focus metalens capable of simultaneous multidimensional sensing.

RF MEMS Based Tunable Bowtie Shaped Substrate Integrated Waveguide Filter [PDF]

open access: yesRadioengineering, 2015
A tunable bandpass filter based on a technique that utilizes substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) and double coupling is presented. The SIW based bandpass filter is implemented using a bowtie shaped resonator structure.
