Miniaturization of Broadband Stub Bandpass Filters Using Bridged-T Coils

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In this paper, broadband stub bandpass filters (BPFs) with very compact circuit sizes are proposed. Specifically, the circuit size of the conventional broadband stub BPF is largely reduced by replacing all transmission line sections with bridged-T coils.

Nonlinear Relations Between Resting Heart Rate Measures and Health Risk Behavior in Emerging Adulthood

open access: yesJournal of Adolescence, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Resting heart rate (HR) measures reflect autonomic processes that could predict health risk behavior (HRB) in emerging adulthood when risky behavior is prominent. However, prior studies and extant theories are inconsistent, such that the relationships between HR measures and HRB could be positive or negative in direction.

Time Encoding Sampling of Bandpass Signals

open access: yes, 2023
This paper investigates the problem of sampling and reconstructing bandpass signals using time encoding machine(TEM). It is shown that the sampling in principle is equivalent to periodic non-uniform sampling (PNS).

Application of FMICW technology based on stagger algorithm in automotive radar

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2018
The problem of spurious spectral peaks produced by the traditional method of using a single switching frequency in automotive FMICW radar was focused by the proposed scheme. The system accuracy depended on the previously estimated range if a bandpass ...

Research on microwave photonic channelization receiving technology based on dual coherent optical frequency comb

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2020
In order to meet the future development needs of broadband communications, a microwave photonic channelization receiver based on dual coherent optical frequency comb (OFC) was proposed. The used optical frequency comb can be generated by only a dual ...

A Sub‐Microsecond Switch Enabling SWIFT 23Na Imaging at 10.5 T

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose To enable sodium SWIFT imaging, which is a zero‐echo time imaging technique, at ultra‐high magnetic fields through the development of custom electronics hardware, and to showcase this capability with in vivo imaging results. Methods The custom hardware developed consists of a high‐speed optical trigger with 10 ns resolution, an in‐bore

Inertial‐Based LQG Control: A New Look at Inverted‐Pendulum Stabilization

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mechanical System Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Linear‐quadratic Gaussian (LQG) control is a well‐established method for optimal control through state estimation, particularly in stabilizing an inverted pendulum on a cart. In standard laboratory setups, sensor redundancy enables direct measurement of configuration variables using displacement sensors and rotary encoders. However, in outdoor

An Adaptive Contourlet HMM–PCNN Model of Sparse Representation for Image Denoising

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, we propose a novel model of sparse representation for image denoising that we call an adaptive contourlet hidden Markov model (HMM)-pulse-coupled neural network (PCNN).
