A plasmonic MIM bandstop filter

2018 3rd International Conference on Microwave and Photonics (ICMAP), 2018
This paper presents a bandstop wavelength filter designed by incorporating a rectangular groove in plasmonic MIM (Metal-Insulator-Metal) waveguide. The designed bandstop filter is simulated for generating a transmission notch at 1715 nm having a bandwidth of 130nm (from 1650 to 1790 nm).

Compact Dual wide bandstop filter

2009 Applied Electromagnetics Conference (AEMC), 2009
In this work Dual bandstop filter (DBBSF) using coupled line loaded by a optimum bandstop filter, which consists of stepped impedance resonator. The novel transmission line structure consists of a parallel coupled microstrip line loaded by a modified optimum bandstop filter.

Periodic transmission line bandstop filter

IEEE EUROCON 2009, 2009
This paper describes the properties of a radically different type of bandstop filter that makes use a number of parallel stubs that each provides a transmission zero in the stop band. Because of the inherent structure of the network, realizability is improved.

Sharp-Rejection Wideband Bandstop Filters

IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2008
In this letter, a novel transmission line configuration has been proposed to design a sharp-rejection, bandstop filter (BSF) with wide rejection bandwidth. The rejection bandwidth and the level of rejection are controlled by the characteristic impedances of the transmission lines.

Electronically Tunable Microwave Bandstop Filters

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1982
Combline filters with novel input and output coupling networks which enable broad-band tuning to be achieved with minimum degradation in passband performance are discussed. Explicit design formulas for these filters are presented. Computer analysis of varactor tuned combine bandpass filters including the small signal varactor equivalent circuit is ...

The reentrant wideband bandpass/bandstop elliptic filters

2010 10th International Conference on Actual Problems of Electronic Instrument Engineering APEIE-2010, 2010
This paper presents a novel wideband bandpass/bandstop filter configuration. The new filter is based on the reentrant structure with unequal dielectric constants of the internal and external filling. As a result, additional symmetrical transmission zeros are generated at the lower and upper stop bands of the bandpass filter leading to elliptic function

A novel wideband bandstop filter

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2009
AbstractA novel bandstop filter using star shape structure is designed, fabricated, and measured. Parameters are optimized via numerical simulations. Measurements are carried out using network analyzer. The proposed filter has wide bandwidth, compact dimensions, easy fabrication, and low cost.

New compact dual-band bandstop filter

International Journal of Electronics, 2013
This article introduces a compact single pole dual-band bandstop filter using capacitors loaded open rectangular DGS slot. A parametric study is reported to pull down lower and upper frequency bands of the unloaded DGS slot in the range of needed stopbands with the help of the loading capacitors. A systematic design process is reported to design a dual-

Waveguide Bandstop Elliptic Function Filters

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1972
Using the "natural prototype" for elliptic function filters, a design procedure is presented for a class of waveguide bandstop filters, which exhibit equiripple passband and stopband responses. Due to the availability of explicit formulas for element values in the natural prototype elliptic function filter, the design procedure is entirely analytic and
