Equiripple design of low‐pass filter using stub‐loaded Z‐shaped coupled‐line section

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas &Propagation, Volume 15, Issue 15, Page 1899-1913, 16 December 2021., 2021
Abstract Design procedure of a novel transmission line low‐pass filter is presented. The filter has a flexible rejection response for a prescribed cut‐off frequency and an in‐band ripple factor. It is compact by using a Z‐shaped coupled‐line section, which is loaded with open‐circuited stubs.

Analysis and design of a sharp‐rejection wideband bandstop filter with multi‐transmission zeros and reflection zeros

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas &Propagation, Volume 15, Issue 9, Page 995-1008, 29 July 2021., 2021
Abstract Analysis and design of a wideband bandstop filter with multi‐transmission zeros (TZs) and reflection zeros (RZs) are presented. The proposed topology consists of N‐1 shunt open‐circuited stubs (OCSs) cascaded through N‐sections of transmission lines, and two M‐sections of OCSs are shunted at two output ports, respectively.

Two-Port-Reflectionless Negative-Group-Delay Circuit on Multilayered Lossy Bandstop Filter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
A symmetrical reflectionless negative-group-delay (NGD) circuit based on a multilayered lossy bandstop filter (BSF) is presented. It consists of two identical back-to-back-connected lossy BSFs, each of them being shaped by a resistively-terminated lossy ...

Tunable slotted ground structured bandstop filter with BST varactors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This paper presents an investigation of a tunable bandstop filter (BSF) using slotted ground structure. A kind of open loop slot resonator is used for the bandstop response and its characteristics according to various dimensions are considered to decide ...

Mutual Coupling Suppression in Antenna Arrays Using Meandered Open Stub Filtering Technique

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2020
Multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) systems utilize multiple antenna elements to improve channel capacity and achieve higher data rates. The successful implementation of MIMO systems requires low mutual coupling between antenna elements to reduce ...

Compact Wideband Bandstop Filter With Four Transmission Zeros [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This work presents a new type of compact wideband bandstop filter (BSF) with four transmission zeros in the stopband. The proposed filter topology consists of a coupled line directional coupler connected in parallel to an interference transmission line ...

Compact multiband bandstop filters based on symmetric split structure multimode resonators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
In this paper, a design method of multiband bandstop filters with symmetric split structure multimode resonators is proposed. Because of the established degree of freedom, the suggested bandstop filters' center frequencies may be modified based on the ...

Tunable Bandstop HMSIW Filter With Flexible Center Frequency and Bandwidth Using Liquid Crystal

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper reports on a tunable bandstop filter (BSF) with both flexible center frequency and bandwidth. The tunable BSF is based on half-mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW), of which the broadside is coupled with reconfigurable resonators. Using
