MBER power allocation for joint precoding and space-time coding GFDM
In order to improve the bit error rate (BER) and bandwidth utilization performance of generalized frequency division multiplexing (GFDM) system over frequency selective fading channels, based on the minimum bit error rate (MBER) criterion, a joint ...

An Erlang multirate loss model supporting elastic traffic under the threshold policy
In this paper, we propose a multirate teletraffic loss model of a single link with certain bandwidth capacity that accommodates Poisson arriving calls, which can tolerate bandwidth compression (elastic traffic), under the threshold policy.

Application of Ibuprofen Sodium Dihydrate for Thermochemical Energy Storage
Ibuprofen sodium dihydrate is introduced as a durable organic salt hydrate for low‐temperature thermochemical energy storage, operating within 60°C–110°C with high energy density. At the material level, it delivers ∼99.9% cycling efficiency over 150 cycles without deliquescence, enabled by a dual energy‐storage mechanism coupling dehydration and phase ...

Data-Driven Guidelines for Buffer Sizing: A Dynamical System Approach for Throughput Time-Series
Proper router buffer sizing is critical for supporting modern applications that require both high throughput and low latency. An excessively large buffer can induce significant delays due to bufferbloat, whereas undersized buffers often reduce throughput.

Twin Crystal Moiré Metasurfaces for Crossing Flat‐Band Transport
This study introduces twin crystal moiré metasurfaces, breaking in‐plane symmetry to enable reconfigurable acoustic wave manipulation. By adjusting the twin angle and interlayer twist angle, various combinations of hyperbolic, flat bands, and elliptic states can be synthesized in the system.

Multidimensional Cellular Micro‐Compartments to Model Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Dormancy
Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is an understudied subtype of breast cancer that is susceptible to late recurrences. In this study, micro‐compartmentalization techniques spanning multiple dimensions, including 2D, pseudo‐3D, and 3D, are integrated to uncover the mechanisms underlying ILC dormancy, revealing the central role of p27Kip1.
