Monetary policy under a quasi-fixed exchange rate regime. The case of France between 1987 and 1996

open access: yesPSL Quarterly Review, 2013
In this paper, I describe the implementation of monetary policy by the Banque de France between 1987 and 1996. This period was characterised by a quasi-fixed exchange rate for France, as the franc was never realigned within the European Monetary System ...

beDNA : un projet visant à la collection systématique d’échantillons humains archéologiques à vocation paléogénétique – une première expérimentation

open access: yesBulletins et Mémoires de la Société d’Anthropologie de Paris, 2023
Palaeogenetics is becoming increasingly important in tackling archaeological issues. However, analyses of ancient DNA can be hampered or even prevented by the state of preservation of samples due to poor storage conditions, and because of contamination ...

Synergistic Effect of Organic Waste Products and Microbial Inocula on Iron and Zinc Biofortification in Cowpea [Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp.]

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.
Agro‐biofortification using micronutrient‐rich organic waste products combined with local beneficial microorganisms and mycorrhizal fungi substantially enhanced iron and zinc concentrations in cowpea. Across contrasting seasons, this integrated approach increased Fe by up to 48% in grains and 259% in haulms, and Zn by up to 28% in grains and 265% in ...

Assessment of Spatial and Temporal Nitrate Dynamics in a Medium‐Sized Watershed Using SWAT‐RIVE

open access: yesHydrological Processes, Volume 39, Issue 12, December 2025.
Nitrate dynamics in a catchment with multiple anthropogenic pressures were evaluated with SWAT‐RIVE. The results show that 54% of soil nitrate is removed by denitrification, mainly in agricultural areas and wetlands, 8.5% of nitrate inputs to soils reach the river system, and 1.7% is removed by in‐stream processes.

Evaluation of SWAT‐RIVE's Ability to Represent the Hydrobiogeochemical Dynamics in the Vienne Watershed

open access: yesHydrological Processes, Volume 39, Issue 11, November 2025.
The capabilities of the coupled model SWAT‐RIVE to represent the dynamics of hydrobiogeochemical variables were evaluated. The model returned strong performances for key variables like water, nitrate, dissolved oxygen, dissolved silica and dissolved organic carbon.

Common Neurodegeneration-Associated Proteins Are Physiologically Expressed by Human B Lymphocytes and Are Interconnected via the Inflammation/Autophagy-Related Proteins TRAF6 and SQSTM1

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2019
There is circumstantial evidence that, under neurodegenerative conditions, peptides deriving from aggregated or misfolded specific proteins elicit adaptive immune responses.

Deservingness on the Front Lines: How Volunteers Navigate Moral Judgments in Emergency Food Distribution

open access: yesCanadian Review of Sociology/Revue canadienne de sociologie, Volume 62, Issue 4, Page 324-334, November 2025.
ABSTRACT The COVID‐19 pandemic marked a significant shift in the landscape of social assistance in Canada, as emergency support became more widely accessible. Faced with the prospect of rapidly distributing aid during an international crisis, this study draws on interviews with 19 volunteers from an emergency food program in Vancouver's Downtown ...

Operational Choices for Risk Aggregation in Insurance: PSDization and SCR Sensitivity

open access: yesRisks, 2018
This work addresses crucial questions about the robustness of the PSDization process for applications in insurance. PSDization refers to the process that forces a matrix to become positive semidefinite.

Enhanced Brain‐Heart Connectivity as a Precursor of Reduced State Anxiety after Therapeutic Virtual Reality Immersion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 38, October 13, 2025.
This study shows that enhanced brain‐to‐heart coupling is a precursor of anxiety reduction following a virtual reality‐based non‐pharmacological intervention. Driven by midline beta rhythms, this effect suggests the involvement of central‐autonomic interactions.

L’école libérale française et la question du bimétallisme (1860-1885). Enjeux économiques et politiques de la controverse

open access: yesŒconomia, 2012
In the end of the 19th century the controversy on bimetallism divides the French liberal school into two opposite groups. The study of the arguments of both sides—bimetallists and monometallists—shows that this opposition is not only a theoretical one ...
