ANCA‐Negative Pauci‐Immune Glomerulonephritis Associated with Bartonella Endocarditis
Kidney complications can occur due to infective endocarditis, one of which is glomerulonephritis. Most often, an immune complex or complement‐mediated glomerulonephritis is seen on kidney biopsy. In a minor subset of cases, pauci‐immune glomerulonephritis may be present.

Neuroretinitis caused by Bartonella quintana.
A 57-year-old woman presented to the eye clinic for impaired vision on the left eye persisting for three months. Clinical examination revealed massive peripapillary exudate and stellate macular exudate, raising suspicion of a cat-scratch disease. Tetracycline therapy was introduced, followed by azithromycin and topical corticosteroids.

Cat‐scratch disease (CSD) is a self‐limited zoonotic infection transmitted by felines caused by the Gram‐negative bacillus Bartonella henselae. It usually presents with lymphadenopathy and constitutional symptoms that resolve within eight weeks, with, or without antibiotic treatment.
