Topology and its Applications, 1980 AbstractIn the first part of this paper a characterization of epi-reflective subcategories of the category TOP of topological spaces in terms of initial topologies is given. This characterization enables us to associate to each epi-reflective subcategory of TOP, regular systems of cogenerators.

Simultaneous Material and Topology Optimization Based on Topological Derivatives [PDF]
, 2014 We use an asymptotic expansion of the compliance cost functional in linear elasticity to find the optimal material inside elliptic inclusions. We extend the proposed method to material optimization on the whole domain and compare the global quality of the solutions for different inclusion sizes.

FEBS Letters, EarlyView.In this study, we present the structure of AcrIE8.1, a previously uncharacterized anti‐CRISPR protein that inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system. Through a combination of structural and biochemical analyses, we demonstrate that AcrIE8.1 directly binds to the Cas11 subunit of the Cascade complex to inhibit the CRISPR‐Cas system.
