Generalization of the Van Cittert--Zernike theorem: observers moving with respect to sources
The use of the Van Cittert--Zernike theorem for the formulation of the visibility function in satellite-based Earth observation with passive radiometers does not take into account the relative motion of the observer (the satellite antenna) with respect ...

A sclerochronology defined 600-year baseline of marine dynamics in the North Sea
Arctica islandica is a long-lived marine bivalve mollusc that inhabits the continental shelf seas of the North Atlantic Ocean at subpolar and temperate latitudes. Growth increments formed within A. islandica shells can be analysed to form annually resolved and absolutely dated sclerochronologies that are

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

Checklist of amphipods of italian seas: baseline for monitoring biodiversity
This preliminary study presents an updated checklist of amphipod crustaceans inhabiting Italian seas and provides valuable insights into their diversity, distribution, and ecological traits. By combining existing literature with unpublished data, we were able to record 500 species in Italian waters.

ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...

Image Parsing with a Wide Range of Classes and Scene-Level Context
This paper presents a nonparametric scene parsing approach that improves the overall accuracy, as well as the coverage of foreground classes in scene images. We first improve the label likelihood estimates at superpixels by merging likelihood scores from
