Colorful Polymer Compositions with Dyed Graphene Oxide Nanosheets
A water suspension of graphene oxide nanosheets (GONSs) obtained via exfoliation of a graphite oxide was treated with a solution of rhodamine 6G. It was found that adding the dye results in the destruction of the GONS water suspension and the precipitation of dyed graphene oxide.

The Motherland and the Fight with Fascism: War Cult and War Film under Brezhnev (1965–82)
Abstract This article, based on extensive archival documentation, newspapers, and periodicals, examines the impact upon the Soviet film industry of shifts in top‐level policy relating to representation of the war. It contends that Leonid Brezhnev’s May 8, 1965, speech on the eve of Victory Day propounded an inclusive vision of the war (later sections ...

Simple 3D spheroid cell culture model for studies of prion infection
Gentle rocking of CAD 5 cells suspension leads to spontaneous formation of 3D spheroids, which could be cultured up to 12 weeks and infected by prions. The presence of pathological prion protein PrPTSE in the infected spheroids was confirmed by Immunohistochemistry (red arrows), western blot and by seed amplification assay.

Rate of convergence on Baskakov‐Beta‐Bezier operators for bounded variation functions
We introduce a new sequence of linear positive operators Bn,α(f, x), which is the Bezier variant of the well‐known Baskakov Beta operators and estimate the rate of convergence of Bn,α(f, x) for functions of bounded variation. We also propose an open problem for the readers.

Norm-Controlled Inversion in Smooth Banach Algebras, I
Every differential subalgebra of a unital $C^*$-algebra is spectrally invariant. We derive a quantitative version of this well-known fact and show that a minimal amount of smoothness, as given by a differential norm, already implies norm control.

Moment Angle Complexes and Big Cohen-Macaulayness
Let Z_K be the moment angle complex associated to a simplicial complex K, with the canonical torus T-action. In this paper, we prove that, for any possibly disconnected subgroup G of T, G-equivariant cohomology of Z_K over the integer Z is isomophic to ...

Consumer behavior in the context of global economic transformations [PDF]
Transition to alternative methods of service and omnichannelity allows the buyer to be more demanding and discerning. The current trends in the development of retail trade caused by globalization forcing the redistribution of consumer budget from a high ...

Inverse-Closedness of a Banach Algebra of Integral Operators on the Heisenberg Group
Let $\mathbb{H}$ be the general, reduced Heisenberg group. Our main result establishes the inverse-closedness of a class of integral operators acting on $L^{p}(\mathbb{H})$, given by the off-diagonal decay of the kernel.
