Secure Metering Data Aggregation With Batch Verification in Industrial Smart Grid

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, 2020
Smart grid can greatly improve the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of the traditional grids. In industrial smart grid, real-time user-side metering data may be frequently collected for monitoring and controlling electricity consumption ...

Batch Verification of ECDSA Signatures

2012
In this paper, we study several algorithms for batch verification of ECDSA signatures. The first of these algorithms is based upon the naive idea of taking square roots in the underlying field. We also propose two new and efficient algorithms which replace square-root computations by symbolic manipulations.

Batch Verification for Certificateless Signature Schemes

2009 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security, 2009
Batch verification is a practical and significant technique which is very useful for greatly reducing the computational cost of verifying many signatures simultaneously. This technique is very attractive for authentications in computation-limited applications such as sensor network and banking service.

Improved digital signature suitable for batch verification

IEEE Transactions on Computers, 1995
Summary: A improved digital signature is developed based on the famous Schnorr or Brickell-McCurley schemes. It is shown that both the new scheme and the previous two originals rely on the same security assumptions. The novel feature of this proposed signature is that it can be verified in a batch manner and the improved efficiency is approximately ...

Batch Verifications with ID-Based Signatures

2005
An identity (ID)-based signature scheme allows any pair of users to verify each other’s signatures without exchanging public key certificates. With the advent of Bilinear maps, several ID-based signatures based on the discrete logarithm problem have been proposed. While these signatures have an advantage in the fact that the system secret can be shared
