Strain‐Adaptive Dielectric Metamaterials via Bioinspired “Ligament‐Bone” Architecture for Ultrahigh‐Energy Capacitive Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bioinspired strain‐adaptive ligament‐bone architecture achieves record‐high energy density of 26.1 J cm−3 and 90% efficiency at 600 MV m−1, coupled with a Young's modulus of 2.13 GPa. ABSTRACT Polymer dielectrics for capacitive energy storage face fundamental trade‐offs between breakdown strength, energy density, efficiency, and mechanical robustness.

Photoenhanced chemical-vapor deposition of BaTiO3

open access: yes, 1994
High quality BaTiO3 films have been deposited on MgO (100) and Pt coated Si (Pt/Ta/ONO/Si) substrates at 600° C by photoenhanced chemical-vapor deposition (photo-CVD). X-ray-diffraction measurements show that highly a-axis oriented BaTiO3 was formed

Synergistic Regulation of Interfacial Potential and Anionic Covalency for High‐Voltage Cobalt‐Free All‐Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A synergistic interface regulation strategy using high‐dielectric BaTiO3 and sulfate‐derived S─O bonds is developed to unlock high‐voltage LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 all‐solid‐state batteries. By mitigating space‐charge layer effects and stabilizing lattice oxygen, the system achieves high‐rate (3 C) and durable operation in 5 V‐class cobalt‐free solid‐state ...
