The electronic structures and optical properties of B, C or N doped BaTiO3

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2018
The electronic structures and optical properties of Boron, Carbon or Nitrogen doped BaTiO3 are calculated by the first-principles calculations. The doped atoms decrease the band gap of BaTiO3 significantly, which could increase the host material ability ...

Microstructures of X7R type base-metal-electroded BaTiO3 capacitor materials prepared by duplex-structured process

open access: yes, 2009
Low temperature coefficient of capacitance (TCC) for the MgO/Y2O3 co-doped BaTiO3 materials can be achieved by a duplex-structured process. The results of structure refinement reveal that large amount of MgO species can not only suppress the grain growth

Flexoelectrically Induced Polar Topology in Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Twisted SrTiO3 bilayers host polar vortices of flexoelectric origin, revealed through combined experiment and theory. By reconstructing polarization from the toroidal moment of strain gradients, the work establishes a 3D chiral state with broken inversion and mirror symmetries.
