The Fast, the Steady and the Tenacious: Funding Pathways for Circular Start‐Ups

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Circular start‐ups (CSUs) are critical for unlocking the circular economy, yet they face persistent barriers in accessing finance. Despite growing interest from policymakers and financing institutions, little empirical evidence explains how these ventures pursue and secure funding.

Battery thermal management system

2004 10th International Workshop on Computational Electronics (IEEE Cat. No.04EX915), 2005
Most VRLA batteries used in telecommunications applications are designed to operate in an indoor environment of 25/spl deg/ C. When placed in an outdoor environment, the batteries must be heated to prevent loss of capacity and must be ventilated to avoid build-up of hydrogen gas that occurs during charging that isn't properly controlled.

Integrated Modeling for Intelligent Battery Thermal Management

2013 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, 2013
Effective thermal management is crucial to the optimal operation of lithium ion batteries and its health management. However, the thermal behaviors of batteries are governed by complex chemical process whose parameters will degrade over time and different environment.
