Minimum Expected Loss Estimators of The Parameters of the Inverse Gaussian Distribution [PDF]
The parameters of the inverse Gaussian distribution are estimated by assuming a weighted squared-error loss function and minimizing the corresponding expected loss with respect to the posterior distribution.

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Inference on P(Y < X) Based on Ranked Set Sample for Generalized Pareto Distribution
In this paper, the problem of estimation of R = P(Y < X) based on ranked set sampling, when (X,Y) follows generalised Pareto distribution (GPD) is considered. The maximum likelihood (ML) estimators and Bayes estimators of R are obtained.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

On a design consistency property of hierarchical Bayes estimators in finite population samplings. [PDF]
We obtain a limit of a hierarchical Bayes estimator of a finite population mean when the sample size is large. The limit is in the sense of ordinary calculus, where the sample observations are treated as fixed quantities. Our result suggests a simple way

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

A New Class of Bayes Minimax Estimators of the Mean Matrix of a Matrix Variate Normal Distribution
Bayes minimax estimation is important because it provides a robust approach to statistical estimation that considers the worst-case scenario while incorporating prior knowledge.
