Unraveling the Shared Genetic Architecture and Molecular Mechanisms Linking Cardiovascular Traits and Glaucoma: A Comprehensive Cross‐Trait Analysis

open access: yesMedicine Advances, EarlyView.
This study investigates the shared genetic architecture between eight cardiovascular traits and glaucoma using comprehensive cross‐trait analysis. We identified 9948 pleiotropic loci, 71 colocalized signals, and 24 shared genes, with BCAS3, BICC1, FAM213A, ITGB5, NUP160, and TNS1 emerging as robust cross‐trait candidates.

Multiple‐TE Based Blood–Brain‐Barrier Water Exchange Time Measurement Using a TE‐Resolved 3D TSE Stack‐Of‐Spirals Readout

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose To develop a slice‐wise blurring‐free and densely sampled TE‐resolved multiple‐TE (mTE) ASL sequence (TASL) for measuring blood–brain barrier (BBB) water exchange time. Methods A 3D TSE spiral‐readout pCASL sequence was modified to enable TE‐resolved acquisition.

Information Design for Early‐Stage Dose‐Finding Trials

open access: yesNaval Research Logistics (NRL), EarlyView.
ABSTRACT To enhance enrollment rates in early‐stage dose‐finding clinical trials, we propose an information design approach, where the clinical investigator (CI) commits to an information releasing mechanism (IRM) based on the treatment's uncertain efficacy and toxicity to encourage patients to participate in the trial.

A Review of Mechanical Reinforcement and Piezoresistive Self‐Sensing in Carbon Nanotube Fiber Composites

open access: yesPolymer Composites, EarlyView.
PSPP‐TRL mapping of CNT‐modified CFRP literature, with four recurring confusions resolved and five scale‐up problems quantified. ABSTRACT Carbon nanotube‐modified fiber composites are often presented as a route to stronger, tougher, and self‐sensing structural materials.

Does Economic Growth Drive Equitable Water and Sanitation Access? Assessing Inequality Reduction Across 64 Nations

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article examines whether economic growth reduces inequalities in access to water and sanitation across 64 countries over an average period of 13.5 years. Drawing on disaggregated data by income quintiles and rural–urban location, and employing ordinary least squares (OLS), two‐stage least squares (2SLS), and Seemingly Unrelated Regression
