Bayesian foundations of nash equilibrium behaviour
This is part of a larger project to investigate the Bayesian foundations of non-cooperative solution concepts. Elsewhere Bernheim and Pearce prove that common knowledge of Bayesian rationality is not enough to justify the non-cooperative solution concept defined by Nash. Here several alternative behavioural assumptions are considered.

In this work, we study n-agent Bayesian games with m-dimensional vector types and linear payoffs, also called linear multidimensional Bayesian games. This class of games is equivalent with n-agent, m-game uniform multigames.

On purification of equilibrium in Bayesian games and ex-post Nash equilibrium [PDF]
We demonstrate that if any realization for a Bayesian game is, with high profitability, an approximate Nash equilibrium of the induced game of complete information, then there is a purification of that strategy that is an approximate equilibrium of the original Bayesian game.

Generalized Bayesian Nash Equilibrium with Continuous Type and Action Spaces
Bayesian game is a strategic decision-making model where each player's type parameter characterizing its own objective is private information: each player knows its own type but not its rivals' types, and Bayesian Nash equilibrium (BNE) is an outcome of this game where each player makes a strategic optimal decision according to its own type under the ...

Characterizing Manipulation via Machiavellianism
Machiavellianism refers to the propensity of taking advantage of people within a society. Machiavellians have reputations for being cunning and competitive. They are also skilled long-term strategists and planners. Other than their “victories,” there are

Target allocation decision of incomplete information game based on Bayesian Nash equilibrium
Aiming at the incomplete information of AUV cooperative confrontation, the incomplete information game theory is used to study the confrontation behavior of AUVs.

Network Formation with Asymmetric Players and Chance Moves
We propose a model of network formation as a two-stage game with chance moves and players of various types. First, the leader suggests a connected communication network for the players to join.

Modeling Bayesian inspection game for non-performing loan problems
This study compiled a Bayesian inspection game as a branch in game theory to deal with non-performing loans (NPLs). Three types of games are analyzed, which are false alarm (FA), non-detection (ND), and bull's eye (BE).

Computing pure Bayesian-Nash equilibria in games with finite actions and continuous types [PDF]
We extend the well-known fictitious play (FP) algorithm to compute pure-strategy Bayesian-Nash equilibria in private-value games of incomplete information with finite actions and continuous types (G-FACTs). We prove that, if the frequency distribution of

Computing a Mechanism for a Bayesian and Partially Observable Markov Approach
The design of incentive-compatible mechanisms for a certain class of finite Bayesian partially observable Markov games is proposed using a dynamic framework.
