CLASSIFICATION OF ROCKS OF THE BAZHENOV FORMATION

Геология и геофизика, 2016
Abstract In this study, we propose a new classification of rocks of the Bazhenov Formation based on the proportions of four principal components (siliceous, clay, and carbonate minerals and organic matter (kerogen)) of mostly biochemogenic and, to a lesser extent, allothigenic origin.

Types of reservoirs in the Bazhenov formation

Недропользование. Горное дело. Направления и технологии поиска, разведки и разработки месторождений полезных ископаемых. Экономика. Геоэкология: Материалы XVI международной конференции (20-24 апреля 2020, Новосибирск), 2020
The paper considers three types of reservoirs in the Bazhenov formation: fractured, fractured-cavernous, and fractured-porous. Analysis of modern ideas about the Bazhenov Formation lithology and results of the formation testing in the southeastern and southern parts of the West Siberian sedimentary basin allowed to conclude that productive horizon Yu0 ...

Distribution of organic matter in Bazhenov high-carbon formation

Moscow University Bulletin. Series 4. Geology, 2019
One of the most famous and promising shale formations in Russia is the Bazhenov formation. The ambiguity of ideas about its geological features, caused by the complex, heterogeneous structure of the strata, attracts the attention of many researchers. In this work, the Bazhenov formation is singled out in conjunction with its stratigraphic counterparts ...
