A >70‐Myr‐Long Geomagnetic Field Reversal Hyperactivity Across the Ediacaran‐Cambrian Transition
Abstract The long‐term variation of the geomagnetic field is a key constraint for unraveling the geodynamo processes and the evolution of Earth's deep interior. However, the geomagnetic reversal pattern during the Ediacaran–Cambrian transition remains elusive. Here we present an integrated magneto‐ and cyclo‐stratigraphic study of a ∼1.8‐Myr‐long, late

The history of oil generation by organic matter of Bazhenov Formation in the northern part of Nyurol megadepression (Western Siberia) [PDF]
The results of one-dimensional modeling of oil and gas generation by organic matter of the non-oil and oil-bearing Bazhenov Formation in a well network within the northern part of Nyurol megadepression are presented.

Abstract Epilepsy affects approximately 1% of the population worldwide, and although medications are effective in the majority of cases, seizures persist in approximately 30% of patients. Despite the effort to develop new antiseizure drugs, the rate of pharmacoresistance in patients has not diminished over the past 3 decades. There is thus a real unmet

Can responsiveness to closed‐loop acoustic stimulation (CLAS) be modulated by anodal transcranial direct current stimulation (AmodCLAS) during sleep? Such induced differences in excitability may partially explain variability in CLAS efficacy. AmodCLAS affected offline detected slow oscillations, reduced sleep efficiency, and REM sleep.

Hard-to-recover reserves of Yugra oil (West Siberia)
In 2017, the Yugra’s share of the all-Russian production was 43.0 %, it’s 235.3 million tons in absolute units. This is 3.9 million tons less than in 2016 and 43.1 million less than in 2007.

Iridium‐Doped Monoclinic Zirconia as a Catalyst for the Oxygen Evolution Reaction
Using density functional theory, we study Ir‐dopings of the monoclinic ZrO2${\rm ZrO}_2$ (1¯11$\bar{1}11$) surface in search of an Ir‐lean catalyst for the oxygen evolution reaction. These are found to be metastable compared to the separate phases of IrO2${\rm IrO}_2$ and ZrO2${\rm ZrO}_2$.
