Purpose Profiles in Informal Digital Learning of English: A Mixed‐Methods Study
ABSTRACT Background Research on Informal Digital Learning of English (IDLE) has largely emphasized engagement intensity, with less attention to learners' underlying purposes. Objectives This study identified purpose profiles in IDLE and examined their associations with digital competence, L2 emotions, and cross‐cultural competence. It also explored how

Symbol‐Level GRAND‐Assisted Detection for Polar‐Coded Spatial Modulation in MIMO Systems
This research presents an integrated polar‐coded spatial modulation (PCSM) transceiver scheme for MIMO transmission over Rayleigh fading channels. The proposed architecture employs linear spatial signal processing for antenna and symbol estimation, followed by symbol‐level guessing random additive noise decoding (symbol‐level GRAND)–assisted detection ...

A decoding method of an n length binary BCH code through (n + 1)n length binary cyclic code
For a given binary BCH code Cn of length n = 2 s - 1 generated by a polynomial of degree r there is no binary BCH code of length (n + 1)n generated by a generalized polynomial of degree 2r. However, it does exist a binary cyclic code C (n+1)n of

After a brief introduction to both quantum computation and quantum error correction, we show how to construct quantum error-correcting codes based on classical BCH codes. With these codes, decoding can exploit additional information about the position of errors. This error model - the quantum erasure channel - is discussed.

ABSTRACT A frequently cited concern regarding patient‐as‐own‐control trial designs in rare disease is the potential for placebo and related effects to inflate apparent treatment efficacy. Whether this concern is disqualifying or manageable has not been systematically evaluated.

Wavelet-Based Error-Correcting Codes: Performance Comparison with BCH in Modern Channels
Reliable data transmission over noisy channels requires effective error-correcting codes. While classical algebraic constructions, such as Bose–Chaudhuri–Hocquenghem (BCH) codes, remain industry standards, structured alternatives based on discrete ...

Decoding of Quasi-Cyclic Codes up to A New Lower Bound on the Minimum Distance
A new lower bound on the minimum Hamming distance of linear quasi-cyclic codes over finite fields is proposed. It is based on spectral analysis and generalizes the Semenov- Trifonov bound in a similar way as the Hartmann-Tzeng bound extends the BCH ...
