Head Acceleration Event Probabilities During Standardised Contact Drills in Academy Men's Rugby League

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Sport Science, Volume 26, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT This study investigated head acceleration event (HAE) probabilities between common contact‐drills in rugby league. Fifteen professional male academy players participated in three training sessions, completing standardised contact‐drills while wearing custom‐fitted iMGs, all sessions were filmed.

MSPCIFormer: A Multi‐Scale Patching Channel‐Independent Transformer for Cryptocurrency Price Forecasting

open access: yesExpert Systems, Volume 43, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Forecasting cryptocurrency prices remains challenging due to extreme volatility, regime‐dependent dynamics, and unstable cross‐asset correlations. Statistical methods such as ARIMA and GARCH assume stationarity and linear dependence structures, making them inadequate for capturing non‐linear temporal patterns in high volatile cryptocurrency ...

Indirect But Lasting: Linking Indirect Aggression Use Over Childhood to Future Adjustment While Considering Conduct Problems

open access: yesAggressive Behavior, Volume 52, Issue 5, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Frequent and recurrent indirect aggressive (IA) behaviors (e.g., spreading false rumors, ignoring) are associated with later detrimental consequences. This high IA use appears to be more frequent among children with conduct problems, making it difficult to determine whether the negative outcomes of IA are related to other conduct problems or ...

SLC7A5 promotes colorectal cancer liver metastasis by reprogramming tryptophan metabolism through the Kyn/XANA‒AhR axis and reshaping the immune microenvironment

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 8, August 2026.
SLC7A5‒Kyn/XANA signalling activates AhR to drive EMT and metastatsis. SLC7A5 knockdown enhances macrophage antigen presentation and reverses CD8+ T‐cell exhaustion. SLC7A5 knockdown induces antigen‐driven and IgG‐secreting B‐cell clonal expansion. Combination of SLC7A5 inhibition and anti‐PD‐1 therapy offers clinical targeting.

Multirate Filter Bank Representations of RS and BCH Codes

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2009
This paper addresses the use of multirate filter banks in the context of error-correction coding. An in-depth study of these filter banks is presented, motivated by earlier results and applications based on the filter bank representation of Reed-Solomon (

Integrated Metabolomic and Transcriptomic Analysis Revealed the Capsanthin Biosynthesis and Sequestration in Processing Type Red Pepper (Capsicum annuum var. conoides)

open access: yeseFood, Volume 7, Issue 4, August 2026.
This study establishes that fruit color divergence in Yanjiao pepper cultivars arises from hierarchical regulation of carotenoid metabolism, driven by yellow‐blue chromaticity variation and cultivar‐specific metabolic strategies. These findings provide a mechanistic framework for breeding peppers with enhanced color stability and nutraceutical value ...

Research on McEliece and Niederreiter Public-key Cryptosystem Algorithm Based on Quantum BCH Codes

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2018
In order to resist the security threat of quantum computing attacks to the traditional cryptosystem, a class of McEliece public-keycryptosystems was designed in this paper, based on the fact that no quantum computing algorithm can attack the McEliece ...
