In this chapter, we provide an overview of publicly available software platforms for brain–computer interfaces. We have identified seven major BCI platforms and one platform specifically targeted towards feedback and stimulus presentation. We describe the intended target user group (which includes researchers, programmers, and end users), the most ...

Altering MOR-based BCI CTMs into Delphi-like BCI CTMs
2020 26th International Workshop on Thermal Investigations of ICs and Systems (THERMINIC), 2020A novel method is proposed for altering MOR-based BCI CTMs into equivalent Delphi-like BCI CTMs. The temperature rises and powers injected at the ports of such Delphi-like BCI CTMs are respectively the spatial averages of the temperature rise distribution and the fluxes of the heat flux density over a small set of surfaces in which the boundary of an ...

ECoG-Based BCI for BCI-MEG Research
2016A brain-computer interface (BCI) allows the user to control a device or software with brain activity. Many BCIs rely on dynamics of brain oscillations related to semantic and motor imaginary tasks in the electroencephalogram (EEG) and magnetoencephalography (MEG).

Commutative pseudo-BCI algebras and commutative pseudo-BCI filters
2010 Third International Symposium on Knowledge Acquisition and Modeling, 2010As a generalization of commutative BCI-algebra, the notion of commutative pseudo-BCI algebra is introduced, and some properties are investigated. The lattice structure of commutative pseudo-BCI algebra is discussed. By introducing the notion of commutative pseudo-BCI filter, commutative pseudo-BCI algebra is characterized.

(∈, ∈ ∨ q)-intuitionistic fuzzy BCI-subalgebras of a BCI-algebra
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2016In this paper, we first introduce the concept of quasi-coincidence of an intuitionistic fuzzy point within an intuitionistic fuzzy set. By using this new idea, we further introduce the notions of (∈, ∈ ∨ q)-intuitionistic fuzzy BCI-subalgebras of BCI-algebras and investigate some of their related properties.

Periodic BCI-algebras and Subgroups of Adjoint Monoids of BCI-algebras
Semigroup Forum, 1998Let \((X,\cdot,0)\) be a BCI-algebra. The set \(M(X)\) of all finite compositions of right shifts \(\rho_{a}(x)=xa\) is a commutative monoid with the unit \(\rho_{0}\). It is proved that there is a bijection from p-semisimple closed ideals of a BCI-algebra \(X\) to subgroups of \(M(X)\).

BCI++: an object-oriented BCI Prototyping Framework
2008This work aimed at providing a set of tools for the development of home Brain Computer Interfaces based on a low cost acquisition and processing device which could be used by both the end-user in their domestic activities and by the researcher in order to develop new protocols and algorithms and all the software modules necessary to ease the ...

High-Frequency SSVEP-BCI Stimulation Frequency Optimization Based on BCI accuracy
2024 46th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC)This study investigates optimization of the stimulation frequency of blinking stimuli used for steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) brain-computer interface (BCI) for individuals. Heare, we set the target BCI accuracy to 90%, and we propose and evaluate an efficient algorithm to search for stimulation frequencies that satisfy the accuracy ...
