Superfluidity has been predicted and now observed in a number of different electron-hole double-layer semiconductor heterostructures. In some of the heterostructures, such as GaAs and Ge-Si electron-hole double quantum wells, there is a strong mismatch ...

BCS-BEC crossover of atomic Fermi superfluid in a spherical bubble trap [PDF]
We present a theory of a two-component atomic Fermi gas with tunable attractive contact interactions on a spherical shell going through the BCS Bose Einstein condensation (BEC) crossover, inspired by the realizations of spherical bubble traps for ...

BCS-BEC crossover with unequal-mass fermions [PDF]
We investigate the crossover from BCS pairing to molecular BEC in an atomic gas with two fermion species with masses $m_\up \ne m_\dn$ tuned through a Feshbach resonance. We present results for the T=0 equation of state as a function of the scattering length including the effects of Gaussian fluctuations about the mean field ground state.

Rabi Coupled Fermions in the BCS–BEC Crossover
We investigate the three-dimensional BCS–BEC crossover in the presence of a Rabi coupling, which strongly affects several properties of the system, such as the chemical potential, the pairing gap and the superfluid density.

Universal correlations along the BEC-BCS crossover
Universality of the long-distance behavior across the Bardeen–Cooper–Schrieffer (BEC)-Bose–Einstein condensate (BCS) smooth transition for two-body density correlation functions and the Cooper-pair probability density is demonstrated in a balanced ...

Hidden Pseudogap and Excitation Spectra in a Strongly Coupled Two-Band Superfluid/Superconductor
We investigate single-particle excitation properties in the normal state of a two-band superconductor or superfluid throughout the Bardeen–Cooper–Schrieffer (BCS) to Bose–Einstein-condensation (BEC) crossover, within the many-body T-matrix approximation ...

Resonant pair-exchange scattering and BCS-BEC crossover in a system composed of dispersive and heavy incipient bands: A Feshbach analogy [PDF]
We theoretically show that a two-band system with very different masses harbors a resonant pair scattering that leads to novel pairing properties, as highlighted by the Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) to Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) crossover.

BCS–BEC CROSSOVER IN RELATIVISTIC FERMI SYSTEMS [PDF]
We review the BCS–BEC crossover in relativistic Fermi systems, including the QCD matter at finite density. In the first part, we study the BCS–BEC crossover in a relativistic four-fermion interaction model and show how the relativistic effect affects the BCS–BEC crossover.

Flow equations for the BCS-BEC crossover [PDF]
The functional renormalisation group is used for the BCS-BEC crossover in gases of ultracold fermionic atoms. In a simple truncation, we see how universality and an effective theory with composite bosonic di-atom states emerge. We obtain a unified picture of the whole phase diagram. The flow reflects different effective physics at different scales.

Critical Temperature in the BCS-BEC Crossover with Spin-Orbit Coupling
We review the study of the superfluid phase transition in a system of fermions whose interaction can be tuned continuously along the crossover from Bardeen–Cooper–Schrieffer (BCS) superconducting phase to a Bose–Einstein condensate (BEC), also in the ...
