Astrocytes play a key role in activation of microglia by persistent Borna disease virus infection
Neonatal Borna disease virus (BDV) infection of the rat brain is associated with microglial activation and damage to certain neuronal populations. Since persistent BDV infection of neurons is nonlytic in vitro, activated microglia have been suggested to ...

Thermal ageing study of ZnO nanofluid–cellulose insulation
Trends in the studies of mineral oil (MO)-based nanofluids (NFs) show that most of the conducted works have focused only on the thermal and dielectric properties but few numbers on the ageing performance. In the present study, ZnO NF, in combination with

VIROLOGIC, SEROLOGIC AND PATHOLOGIC STUDIES INTO BORDER DISEASE VIRUS (BDV) INFECTION IN A GOAT HERD IN SAUDIA ARABIA [PDF]
In this study, border disease virus (BDV) infection was suspected in a goat herd in Riyadh province, KSA. The outbreak was unusual in that the typical clinical signs of border disease, i.e., tremor and/or fleece changes were not present; manifestations ...

The genome of Border disease virus genotype 8 from chamois by next generation sequencing
Border disease virus (BDV) is widespread both in domestic small ruminants and wildlife. Here we report the genome of BDV genotype 8 from chamois, strain Italy‑58987, obtained by next generation sequencing and the comparison with other pestiviruses.

Spatial and Temporal Phylogeny of Border Disease Virus in Pyrenean Chamois (Rupicapra p. pyrenaica). [PDF]
Border disease virus (BDV) affects a wide range of ruminants worldwide, mainly domestic sheep and goat. Since 2001 several outbreaks of disease associated to BDV infection have been described in Pyrenean chamois (Rupicapra pyrenaica pyrenaica) in Spain ...

Noble gases and nitrogen in material from asteroid Bennu
Abstract We report the elemental and isotopic abundances of all stable noble gases (helium, neon, argon, krypton, and xenon) in eight particles from asteroid Bennu returned by NASA's OSIRIS‐REx mission. We also report nitrogen abundances and isotopic ratios that were analyzed alongside neon and argon in four additional Bennu particles.
