Bayesian Joint Modeling Analysis of Longitudinal Proportional and Survival Data

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
This paper focuses on a joint model to analyze longitudinal proportional and survival data. We utilize a logit transformation on the longitudinal proportional data and employ a partially linear mixed-effect model. With this model, we estimate the unknown

Diagnosis of thyroid nodules for ultrasonographic characteristics indicative of malignancy using random forest

open access: yesBioData Mining, 2020
Background Various combinations of ultrasonographic (US) characteristics are increasingly utilized to classify thyroid nodules. But they lack theories, and heavily depend on radiologists’ experience, and cannot correctly classify thyroid nodules.

STATISTICAL DEPENDENCE ANALYSIS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics C, 1996
We review our recent studies on the dynamical correlations in MC simulations from the view point of the statistical dependence. Attentions are paid to the reduction of the statistical degrees of freedom for correlated data. Possible biases on several cumulants, such as the susceptibility and the Binder number due to finite MC length are discussed.
