The amorphous tungsten (W) is found to be a promising non‐magnetic interlayer simultaneously driving the long‐range interlayer exchange coupling and the large spin Hall effect in a synthetic antiferromagnet (SyAF). Thanks to these characteristics, efficient spin‐orbit torque switching is achieved in the SyAF.

Herein, electron mobility of the n‐type layer is demonstrated to be a key parameter governing detection performance in CQD‐APDs through a comparative study of ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) and ZnO sol–gel (S‐G). The incorporation of ZnO NPs with high electron mobility facilitates efficient extraction of photogenerated electrons, thereby achieving improved ...

Advancing Energy Materials by In Situ Atomic Scale Methods
Progress in in situ atomic scale methods leads to an improved understanding of new and advanced energy materials, where a local understanding of complex, inhomogeneous systems or interfaces down to the atomic scale and quantum level is required. Topics from photovoltaics, dissipation losses, phase transitions, and chemical energy conversion are ...

P2‐type sodium layered oxides have potential for high‐voltage operation but suffer from structural instability and capacity fading. This work demonstrates that synergistic Li and Ti co‐doping enhances sodium inventory, suppresses detrimental phase transitions, and activates reversible lattice oxygen redox.

We demonstrate how improved electrochemical performance during water electrolysis is achieved when a porous transport electrode (PTE) is coupled with a traditional catalyst coated membrane (CCM). Using operando neutron radiography, a more homogenous water distribution near the catalyst layer‐membrane interface is revealed in PTE‐based designs due to ...
