An Improved Hybrid Control Scheme of a Switched Reluctance Motor for Torque Ripple Reduction [PDF]
In this paper, we presents an improved hybrid control scheme based on model predictive torque control using linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC) for the torque drive system of a 12/14 bearingless switched reluctance motor.

Torque and Suspension Force in a Bearingless Switched Reluctance Motor [PDF]
AbstractBearingless switched reluctance motors, which can control rotor radial positions with magnetic force, have been proposed. The bearingless switched reluctance motors are characterized by integration of switched reluctance motors and magnetic bearings.

Super‐spiral sliding mode controller design for single‐winding bearingless switched reluctance motor
Abstract The strong coupling effect between the torque system and the suspension system of the single‐winding bearingless switched reluctance motor (SWBSRM) would result in continuous interference to the system and bring difficulties to the design of the control system.

Abstract The performance of flywheel battery is affected by the vibration and friction of traditional mechanical bearing. A novel kind of bearingless brushless direct current machine (BBLDCM) with the hybrid capabilities of electrical machine and suspension is suitable for flywheel battery which reduces the losses and improves the power quality.

A 5‐degrees of freedom hybrid excitation bearingless motor for vehicle flywheel battery
Abstract To deal with the restriction of vehicle space on a flywheel battery, a 5‐degrees of freedom (DOF) hybrid excitation bearingless motor (HEBM) was proposed. The 5‐DOF suspension force required for the flywheel battery is provided by HEBM. The use of a permanent magnet to provide a suspension bias magnetic field reduces power consumption.

Design and analysis of a high‐integration and low‐loss bearingless flywheel motor in vehicle
Abstract This study investigates an outer rotor bearingless flywheel motor for flywheel batteries in vehicle that exhibits the advantages of high integration and low loss due to outer rotor direct‐drive and bearingless technologies. A hybrid excitation outer rotor bearingless flywheel motor with four‐degrees‐of‐freedom radial suspension and permanent ...

A Full-Period Mathematical Model for a Hybrid-Rotor Bearingless Switched Reluctance Motor [PDF]
A bearingless switched reluctance motor (BSRM) has the combined characteristics of a switched reluctance motor (SRM) and a magnetic bearing. The hybrid-rotor BSRM (HBSRM) discussed in the paper has a twelve-pole stator and an eight-pole hybrid rotor ...

Design and Terminal Sliding Mode Control of Double Stator Bearingless Switched Reluctance Motor
This paper proposes an 18/15/8-pole bearingless switched reluctance motor (BSRM) with good decoupling performance, which optimizes the distance and number of teeth between the inner and outer stator and rotor, reduces the hysteresis force existing during
