Design of novel bearingless switched reluctance motor
This study presents a novel bearingless switched reluctance motor (SRM) with decoupled torque and suspending stator poles. Different from the conventional bearingless SRM, the suspending poles of the proposed bearingless SRM are separated from the phase torque poles.

Analysis of a bearingless switched reluctance motor with permanent magnets in the stator yoke
Because a rotor has no permanent magnet and low manufacturing cost, a bearingless switched reluctance motor (BSRM) has unique advantages in medical and health, biochemical reactions, and other applications that need to be abandoned after single use or ...

An Improved Hybrid Control Scheme of a Switched Reluctance Motor for Torque Ripple Reduction
In this paper, we presents an improved hybrid control scheme based on model predictive torque control using linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC) for the torque drive system of a 12/14 bearingless switched reluctance motor.

An Improved Direct Torque Control for a Single-Winding Bearingless Switched Reluctance Motor [PDF]
The direct torque control (DTC) and direct force control (DFC) method were introduced to reduce the torque and levitation force ripple in single-winding bearingless switched reluctance motors (SWBSRMs). However, it still has some disadvantages.

Torque and Suspension Force in a Bearingless Switched Reluctance Motor
AbstractBearingless switched reluctance motors, which can control rotor radial positions with magnetic force, have been proposed. The bearingless switched reluctance motors are characterized by integration of switched reluctance motors and magnetic bearings.
