Insights into Homogeneous Bulk Boron Doping at the Tetrahedral Site of NCM811 Cathode Materials: Structure Stabilization by Inductive Effect on TM‐O‐B Bonds

open access: yesSmall, Volume 21, Issue 9, March 5, 2025.
Boron can be homogeneously incorporated onto the tetrahedral site of NCM811 through co‐precipitation, causing an inductive effect on transition metal‐O‐B bonds. This reduces oxygen release, and enhances cycling performance, achieving 210 mAh g−¹ initial capacity and 95.3% retention after 100 cycles.

Influence of different drilling forces on drill bit wear in automated drilling of concrete with industrial robots

open access: yesCivil Engineering Design, Volume 6, Issue 4, Page 117-131, December 2024.
Abstract This article investigates the effect of different drilling forces on drill bit wear and their effects on drilling time within the context of the development of a drilling robot for on‐site construction applications. The study explores variations in three force levels (80, 120, 160 N), three directional orientations (upwards, downwards ...

Determination of Chain Transfer Constants of Alcohols for High‐Pressure Polyethylene Polymerization

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, Volume 96, Issue 12, Page 1697-1708, December 2024.
Chain transfer constants of various primary, secondary, and tertiary alcohols as well as diols were successfully determined for the high‐pressure polyethylene polymerization at 2000 bar. The alcohol group increases transfer activity compared to alkanes and a linear intensification of transfer activity with the number of hydrogen atoms is observed ...
