We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

The Effect of Hydraulic Partitioning on Prediction the Rate of Bed Load Transport in Gravel-bed Rivers using Support Vector Machine [PDF]
Evaluation and prediction of sediment transport and associated processes have been one of the main issues of hydraulic and river engineers. There are some variables which affect the amount of bed load of a stream or river which may carry such as ...

A Novel Efficient Method of Estimating Suspended‐To‐Total Sediment Load Fraction in Natural Rivers
Sediment transport load monitoring is important in civil and environmental engineering fields. Monitoring the total load is difficult, especially because of the cost of the bed load transport measurement.

Optimal biocatalyst loading in a fixed bed
The optimal distribution of biocatalyst in a fixed bed operating at steady state was determined to minimize the length of the bed for a fixed conversion of 95%. The distribution in terms of the biocatalyst loading on an inert support depends upon the axial distance from the bed entrance (continuous solution) as well as a set of dimensionless parameters

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Effect of bed load transport on the energy dissipation of step-pool system
Step-pool system is a typical bed micro-morphology in high gradient mountain rivers, which creates extremely high turbulence intensity and thus dissipates a majority the flow energy. The increase of the bed load transport intensity changed the flow field

A Two‐Stage Questionnaire and Actigraphy Screening for iRBD in a Multicenter Retrospective Cohort
ABSTRACT Objective Isolated rapid‐eye‐movement sleep behavior disorder is a prodromal marker of synucleinopathies. However, most cases remain undiagnosed due to the insufficient predictive value of questionnaires and limited access to confirmatory video‐polysomnography. We assessed a two‐stage screening strategy combining a brief questionnaire on rapid‐
