Bed Load Transportation in Alluvial Channels
Journal of the Hydraulics Division, 1971A new approach for calculation of bed load considering the total energy balance of the flow with mobile bed has been presented in this paper.

Bed load transport by natural rivers
Water Resources Research, 1977Since stream power ω and sediment transport rate i are different values of the same physical quantity, namely, the time rate of energy supply and dissipation, it is rational to relate one to the other. The experimental relation has been difficult to interpret because of the spurious curvature of log‐log plots in which a constant threshold stream power ...

Wave-induced Bed Load Transport
1984A theory is developed for the velocity and concentration distribution within a moving layer of sediment in oscillatory flow. The bed is assumed flat and consequently all of the sediment moves as bed load. Tests have been carried out in an oscillatory-flow water tunnel.

Bed-load transport in steep channels
1991In this paper, hydraulic resistance, critical tractive force and bed-load discharge in steep gravel-bed channels are investigated. If the velocity distribution, which is much affected by small relative submergence, is formulated, the resistance law, dimensionless critical tractive force and bed-load formula can be reasonably predicted, and they are ...
