Welding of modified beech wood
2011Wood welding is a mechanical, physical and chemical process during which melt is produced, which then turns into a solid joint after cooling. The paper shows current world-wide knowledge on welding of modified wood while the results of wood welding were received from the Faculty of Forestry in Zagreb.

Alkaline degradation of spruce and beech wood

The first phase results in a decrease of yield down to 83...80%, the second one in a decrease from 83...80% to 64...61% and the third one in a yeld drop from 64...61% to 50...46%.
