ASTROMETRY OF Χ AND H PERSEI BASED ON PROCESSING OF DIGITIZED PLATES OF ARCHIVE OF THE ASTRONOMICAL INSTITUTE OF THE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

open access: yesOdessa Astronomical Publications, 2014
Work is done  with Epson Expression 10000XL scanner  of  Astronomical Institute  (AI)  of theAcademyofSciencesofUzbekistan. The plates were exposed  with theNormalastrograph (D/F = 330mm / 3467mm, M = 59.56"/mm). The  digitization  of  plates with(16x16)

The Effects of Exergaming on Attention in Children With Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder: Randomized Controlled Trial

open access: yesJMIR Serious Games, 2023
BackgroundDespite growing evidence showing the effects of exercise and cognitive trainings on enhancing attention, little is known about the combined effects of exergame on attention in children with attention deficit ...

Reentrant Phase Transitions of the Blume-Emery-Griffiths Model for a Simple Cubic Lattice on the Cellular Automaton

open access: yes, 2006
The spin-1 Ising (BEG) model with the nearest-neighbour bilinear and biquadratic interactions and single-ion anisotropy is simulated on a cellular automaton which improved from the Creutz cellular automaton(CCA) for a simple cubic lattice.

Conceptualising quality early childhood education: Learning from young children in Brazil and South Africa through creative and play‐based methods

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract Early childhood has increasingly been acknowledged as a vital time for all children. Inclusive and quality education is part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with the further specification that all children have access to quality pre‐primary education.

Five-dimensional charged rotating minimally gauged supergravity black hole cannot be over-spun and/or over-charged in non-linear accretion

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
Generally a black hole could be over-charged/spun, violating the weak cosmic censorship conjecture (WCCC) for linear order accretion while the same is always restored for non-linear accretion.

Multicritical Points And Reentrant Phenomenon In The BEG Model

open access: yes, 1992
The Blume - Emery - Griffiths model is investigated by use of the cluster variation method in the pair approximation. We determine the regions of the phase space where reentrant phenomenon takes place.

Physical Biology of the Materials-Microorganism Interface. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Future solar-to-chemical production will rely upon a deep understanding of the material-microorganism interface. Hybrid technologies, which combine inorganic semiconductor light harvesters with biological catalysis to transform light, air, and water into

The sparse Blume-Emery-Griffiths model of associative memories

open access: yes, 2016
We analyze the Blume-Emery-Griffiths (BEG) associative memory with sparse patterns and at zero temperature. We give bounds on its storage capacity provided that we want the stored patterns to be fixed points of the retrieval dynamics.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Bilio-entero-gastrostomy: prospective assessment of a modified biliary reconstruction with facilitated future endoscopic access

open access: yesBMC Surgery, 2012
Background Hepaticojejunostomy (HJ) is the classical reconstruction for benign biliary stricture. Endoscopic management of anastomotic complications after hepaticojejunostomy is extremely difficult.
