Ab initio prediction of the high-pressure phase diagram of BaBiO3 [PDF]
BaBiO3 is a well-known example of a 3D charge density wave (CDW) compound, in which the CDW behavior is induced by charge disproportionation at the Bi site.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Integrating Sign Prediction With Behavior Prediction for Signed Heterogeneous Information Networks
People often use online social networks not only to express attitudes towards others, but also to make decisions, which forms signed heterogeneous information networks.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Anomaly prediction of Internet behavior based on generative adversarial networks [PDF]
With the popularity of Internet applications, a large amount of Internet behavior log data is generated. Abnormal behaviors of corporate employees may lead to internet security issues and data leakage incidents.

Machine Understanding of Human Behavior [PDF]
A widely accepted prediction is that computing will move to the background, weaving itself into the fabric of our everyday living spaces and projecting the human user into the foreground. If this prediction is to come true, then next generation computing,

Predicting expected TCP throughput using genetic algorithm [PDF]
Predicting the expected throughput of TCP is important for several aspects such as e.g. determining handover criteria for future multihomed mobile nodes or determining the expected throughput of a given MPTCP subflow for load-balancing reasons.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
