Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Quaternary Correlation Prediction Compensation for Heading Commands in Virtual Autopilot
Virtual commands serve as the essential framework for establishing interaction between the virtual pilot and the MCP in autopilot scenarios. Conventional proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controllers are insufficient to ensure accurate flight ...

Hybrid Modeling: New Answers to Old Challenges [PDF]
After nearly two decades of debate and fundamental disagreement, topdown and bottom-up energy-economy modelers, sometimes referred to as modeling ‘tribes', began to engage in productive dialogue in the mid-1990s (IPCC 2001).

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Function-Based Behavioral Modeling
Behavioral models, mathematical models of a system\u27s ability to meet customer needs, are useful evaluation tools throughout the design process of systems. Currently, behavioral modeling is conducted at a component level.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

System verification of flexray communication networks through behavioral simulations
Internal vehicle communication networks are becoming highly distributed systems. The increase of the internal vehicle electronic system complexity requires higher performance and reliability, and the necessity of ensuring enough bus signal integrity ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...
