The effect of CEO adverse professional experience on management forecast pessimism

Abstract We examine how CEOs' past experiences of corporate distress affect their subsequent forecast behaviour. We find that CEOs who experienced distress in a non‐CEO position at another firm issue more pessimistic management earnings forecasts after becoming CEO at their current firm.

Frequency and Severity of Allergic Reactions to Non‐Mandatory Labelled Allergenic Foods—Data From Two Large European Cohorts

In two large European cohorts, 589 reactions to non‐mandatory labelled plant‐based foods were identified with sunflower seed, pine nut, pea and lentil as the most frequent triggers. Effect of Dupilumab on Airway Inflammation in Patients With Persistent Asthma

EXPEDITION (NCT02573233) assessed the effects of dupilumab on airway inflammation in patients with persistent asthma using bronchoscopy and gene expression analysis. Dupilumab showed no appreciable effect on inflammatory cell types in biopsies or BALF samples.
