Yaw attitude modeling for BeiDou I06 and BeiDou-3 satellites

GPS Solutions, 2018
The estimated yaw angles of the BeiDou I06 satellite demonstrated that the satellite experienced midnight- or noon-turn maneuvers when the sun elevation angle above the orbital plane (β angle) was in the range of [− 3°, + 3°] and the orbital angle was in the range of approximately [− 6°, 6°] or [174°, 186°].

Accuracy and reliability of BeiDou clocks

Journal of Applied Geodesy, 2023
Abstract The subject of this paper is the analysis of the stability of BeiDou system clocks; currently only signals from two blocks, BSD-2 and BDS-3, are available. For elaboration, 30 s clock corrections from the 2014 to 2020 period for 37 satellites were used (9 IGSO, 28 MEO).

Simulation Analysis of Positioning Performance of BeiDou-2 and Integrated BeiDou-2/GPS

2010 International Conference on Communications and Mobile Computing, 2010
A new method has been proposed for assessing availability of satellite navigation system. Software has been compiled to simulate BeiDou-2 (BD-2) constellation with 12 satellites and GPS constellation. Based on 27 stations of Crustal Moment Observation Network of China, satellite visibility, dilution of precision (DOP), and availability of BD-2, GPS and

BeiDou Time Transfer With the Standard CGGTTS

IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control, 2016
The R2CGGTTS software tool developed at the Royal Observatory of Belgium (ROB) to provide clock solutions in the standard Common GNSS Generic Time Transfer Standard (CGGTTS) has been extended to BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS). The BDS includes satellites in three different orbits: 1) Medium Earth Orbit (MEO); 2) Inclined Geosynchronous ...

Beidou communication (BeiComm) device for rescue in disaster

The First International Conference on Future Generation Communication Technologies, 2012
Communication during the disaster is a difficult issue. The disaster may be natural like tsunami, hurricane, cyclones or man-made like terrorist attack, massive power failure or wartime scenario. The high bandwidth supporting technology is evolving very fast, leading us from 4G/LTE to 5G/cognitive devices' regime. Unfortunately all these technology are

The BeiDou navigation satellite system

2014 XXXIth URSI General Assembly and Scientific Symposium (URSI GASS), 2014
The BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) is a global navigation satellite system to be developed independently by China. It will provide positioning, navigation, and timing services with a global coverage by 2020. It can be used for transport, weather forecast, fishing, forestry, telecommunications, hydrological monitoring, and mapping. The service

Quantization Effect on BeiDou Signal in Jamming Environment

Proceedings of the 2020 3rd International Conference on Geoinformatics and Data Analysis, 2020
The radio frequency interference has become a rising problem to the signal of BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS). Many researchers have analyzed the impact of jammer on the loss of Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) of receivers after post-correlation.
