In Situ Hyperpolarization Enables 15N and 13C Benchtop NMR at Natural Isotopic Abundance.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2023
Without employing isotopic labeling, we demonstrate the generation of 15N and 13C NMR signals for molecules containing -NH2 motifs using benchtop NMR spectrometers (1-1.4 T). Specifically, high-SNR (>50) detection of ammonia, 4-aminopyridine, benzylamine,

Respiratory Compensated Robot for Liver Cancer Treatment: Design, Fabrication, and Benchtop Characterization

IEEE/ASME transactions on mechatronics, 2022
Hepatocellularcarcinoma (HCC) is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in the world. Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is an effective method for treating tumors less than 5 cm.

Comparison of portable and benchtop electrochemical instruments for detection of inorganic and organic gunshot residues in authentic shooter samples

Journal of Forensic Sciences, 2022
Analysis of gunshot residue currently lacks effective screening methods that can be implemented in real time at the crime scene. Historically, SEM‐EDS has been the standard for analysis; however, advances in technology have brought portable ...

Analysis of Lignins Using 31P Benchtop NMR Spectroscopy: Quantitative Assessment of Substructures and Comparison to High-Field NMR

Canadian journal of chemistry (Print), 2022
Lignin is quickly emerging as a biomass-derived source for the production of some crucial organic chemistry building blocks, typically obtained from unsustainable and non-renewable petroleum feedstocks.

Benchtop magnetostriction measurements

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2000
Strains of magnetostrictive origin cause dynamic variations in the radial dimensions of a thin wall cylindrical ring during brief bursts of current through a coaxial conductor. Flux closure within the ring avoids demagnetizing effects while the brief duration of current flow allows for compact power sources and limits thermal drift.

Benchtop-Stable Hypervalent Bromine(III) Compounds: Versatile Strategy and Platform for Air- and Moisture-Stable λ3-Bromanes.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2021
We present the first synthesis of air/moisture-stable λ3-bromanes (9 and 10) by using a cyclic 1,2-benzbromoxol-3-one (BBX) strategy. X-ray crystallography and NMR and IR spectroscopy of N-triflylimino-λ3-bromane (12) revealed that the bromine(III ...

Benchtop Polymer MEMS

Journal of Microelectromechanical Systems, 2006
Loctite photopatternable adhesives 3108, 3340, and 3525 are introduced for microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) applications. These materials are patterned within minutes by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light followed by rinsing with a solvent; no further processing is required.

Benchtop NMR in Forensic Chemistry.

Magnetic resonance in chemistry : MRC, 2021
NMR spectroscopy is a powerful technique well-known for its ability to elucidate structures, analyse mixtures and its quantitative nature. However, the cost and maintenance of high field NMR instruments prevents its widespread use by forensic chemists ...

Virtual-Reality-, Benchtop- und Tier-Benchtop-Simulatoren

Uro-News, 2019
Jeder 20.
