Analysis of LEMs slider mechanisms based on equivalent coupling stiffness
The flexure hinge is the key part to implement the movement of lamina emergent mechanisms(LEMs). Designing a flexure hinge with good flexibility and high accuracy is always the key problem to research compliant mechanisms.

Based on the classical lamination theory, the principal moment direction of the laminate is derived. It is 45° apart from the generalized ply angle, which is the orientation of the ply where the ply angle misalignment occurs nominally.

Study on Bending Stiffness of Stents.
The stent implantation is a low invasive and effective method to treat the coronary artery blockage. The problem of stenting is restenosis because of initimal thickening, which occurs in 20%. Restenosis rate is related to the radial stiffness and bending stiffness of a stent.

Packaging of Macroscopic Material Payloads: Needs, Challenges, Concepts, and Future Directions
This review introduces a unified framework that decomposes any macroscopic packaging system into the payload, packaging material, and packaging strategy and combines them into a conceptual packaging equation: packaging strategy = payload + packaging material.

A pneumatic particle-blocking variable-stiffness bending actuator
This study introduces a variable-stiffness pneumatic bending actuator to enhance the stiffness of flexible robots. The bending actuator combines the working principles of a pneumatic drive, a wedge structure, and particle blockage.

A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.
