Benign cementoblastoma

An unusual case of cementoblastoma is presented. It is the second case to be published demonstrating involvement of the pulp, and it is the first instance of a cementoblastoma that appears to have evolved from an impacted tooth. Benign osteoblastoma

The eighth case of a benign osteoblastoma of the jawbones is presented. The tumor showed early recurrence after imcomplete curettage. The tumor-bearing part of the mandible was resected and reconstructed with an autologous bone graft. The histologic features of the entire specimen proved its benighn character.

Benign cementoblastoma

A case of benign cementoblastoma in a 20-year-old man has been reviewed. The lesion was typical and was associated with the mandibular right first molar. The patient initially reported symptoms related to that tooth. Radiographically, the lesion was 1.5 cm in diameter and had a peripheral radiolucent border.

Benign Osteoblastoma

Benign osteoblastoma is a benign bone‐forming lesion, seen most commonly in the first three decades of life and having a predilection for the vertebral column and the short limb bones. It is distinguishable from osteoid osteoma on the bases of size (being more than one centimetre in diameter) and the absence of surrounding sclerosis.

Benign Osteopetrosis

A case of a 3 1/2-year-old female with benign osteopetrosis is presented. There was radiographic evidence of previous fetal sclerosis of bone yielding a "bone-within-a-bone" appearance, but on radiophosphate imaging this fetal sclerosis was not hyperactive and could not be differentiated from the normal diaphysis surrounding it.

BENIGN CHONDROBLASTOMA

ABSTRACT: Six patients with benign chondroblastoma were treated and followed between 1970-1979. Pain and limitation of motion were the most common presenting complaints. Diagnosis was made by radiographic, pathologic, and microscopic examination. Following curettage and bonegrafting, complete healing occurred within three years in four patients.
